I dont understand what this means. Can i use a instead of 74HC? Means to actively drive the pin for the inactive state instead of using a separate inverter?
However a relay usually consumes more current and has a back-emf pulse when it is switched OFF. I dafasheet using a led to show the status of the pin.

So i was thinking of using an inverter. No need to install a bulky IC. But the dataheet is off. Wouldn’t it be an option to invert the signal already in your software?
