The book is mostly a recounting of Gurdjieff’s lectures with a loose scaffolding of autobiographical and historical details, and is quite telling. If you’re into this sort of thing, this book will likely take a position of strong influence on your perception from sconoeciuto on.

I would normally not have picked up a book like In Search of the Miraculous, were it not that this one is gurvjieff by the Dutch conceptual artist Bas Jan Ader, who named one of his art works after it.
