It seemed a real shame to kill a man for nothing more than a couple of bucks. Her dead man was sitting up. Once she finally agrees that she is a vampire, and he wants to keep her there long enough to get her to fall in love with him, he keeps feeding her bad blood so bitrs think feeding while on her own won’t be easy. It was as if a furnace switch had been flicked on, taking her from cold and clammy to burning up in a heart beat.

She had never seen silver eyes before. Funny- I cracked up from the first chapter and the laughs continued till my stomach was in cramps. If she could beef up how she delivers that story with the words on the page, I could see myself waiting excitedly for everything she wrote. Having said that, this is a wonderful lighthearted book which cleanses the reading palette for more grittier books.

I find this a distinct difference in how Americans and Europeans use this term and it stuck out like a sore thumb for me as misplaced.
